We Are Not Alone in the Universe

In 1996, a fir-shaped UFO landed in the yard of the Poosimatsi farm in the village of Pae in Padis. The landlady and two neighbors witnessed this unprecedented spectacle. In the spring of 2008, Mati Jakson, the landlady's son, decided to erect a monument in the farm yard in honor of this extraordinary event. Having previously dealt with the bronze soldier monument, the artist continues to question the role of monuments in society through various documenting techniques.
